Terms of Use — Duet

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Morrowline Apps (trading as Seyfi Can Zeyrek) for the Duet app. Privacy practices are in the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.

1. Agreement and acceptance

By downloading Duet, creating or using an identifier in the app, tapping Continue, purchasing Couple Pro, or using the service, you agree to these Terms. We intend to record a clickwrap acceptance (I Agree plus stored version) in a later app version. Until that ships, store download and in-app use still constitute acceptance where the law allows. If you do not agree, do not use Duet.

You and Morrowline Apps (trading as Seyfi Can Zeyrek), not Apple, are the parties to this agreement for the iOS Licensed Application.

2. Definitions

Service / Duet: the Android and iOS applications, widget extensions, invite site on duet-172cf.web.app, and our Firebase backend.
Couple space: the Firestore couple document and subcollections shared by two paired users.
Partner: the other Firebase user seated on your couple document.
Couple Pro: the optional auto-renewing subscription (entitlement “Duet Premium”).
Licensed Application: Duet as distributed on the Apple App Store.

3. Eligibility and age

You must be at least 18 years old. Duet is not for children and is not a parental-control tool. You must not use Duet to monitor someone who has not agreed to pair with you.

4. Account

Opening Duet creates a Firebase anonymous identifier. You may link Apple Sign In (iOS) or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for the device and store accounts you use. Delete your account from Us → Account. Deletion removes your user document and Auth user; couple Storage media and the couple document may remain for your partner, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Do not say or assume there is “no account.” There is always an identifier.

5. License grant (including Apple Minimum Terms)

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Duet on devices you own or control.

Apple devices. On iOS you may use Duet only on Apple-branded products you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. You may not distribute Duet over a network for use on multiple devices at the same time except as those Usage Rules allow. You may not reverse-engineer Duet except where the law allows.

APPLE-03 Support. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for maintenance and support. Apple has no obligation to provide support for Duet.

APPLE-09 Third-party terms. You must follow applicable third-party terms (wireless carrier, Apple Media Services, Google Play, Google Sign-In, RevenueCat).

APPLE-10. You acknowledge that Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and may enforce it against you as a third-party beneficiary.

6. System permissions

Photos, location (when in use), and notifications are optional for some features. You may revoke them in system settings. If you revoke them, related features stop. Location, when enabled, shares precise coordinates with your partner. Photos you save to widgets are uploaded to our cloud. Details: Privacy Policy §8.

7. Service description and limits

Duet lets two adults share home-screen widgets, notes, drawings, pings, and optional distance.

Home-screen widgets can show names, notes, photos, drawings, and distance to anyone who can see the device.
Location is when-in-use, not guaranteed real-time background tracking. Distance can be stale or wrong.
Sync, invites, purchases, and push depend on Apple, Google, Firebase, RevenueCat, and your network.
On-device person cutout may fail or look wrong. It is cosmetic, not identity verification.
Free tier caps live widgets (currently 2) and some daily actions. Premium features may change.
Duet is a voluntary couple product. It is not surveillance of a third person and not a mandatory lock.
Third-party apps, launchers, and OEM battery settings can hide or delay widgets.

8. Health and exercise

Duet is not a medical device, fitness tracker, or source of medical advice. Distance is a map approximation, not a health metric.

9. Subscriptions and payment

Couple Pro is sold as auto-renewing subscriptions through Apple App Store and Google Play, via RevenueCat. Offering ofrngae25811450. Packages: weekly and annual as shown at purchase. Prices are the live store price strings.

If one partner subscribes, Couple Pro may apply to the pair through couple billing.

Subscriptions renew until you cancel in the store. Deleting the app does not cancel. Cancel only in Apple or Google subscription settings.

A trial appears only if the store product has an introductory offer.

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google. We do not promise a direct refund except where consumer law requires it.

Restore uses Restore Purchases and the store account tied to your Firebase user.

We do not receive your full payment-card number.

EEA/UK: 14-day withdrawal rights apply to distance contracts, subject to the digital-content exception if you request immediate performance and acknowledge loss of the right. Additional EU withdrawal-button rules may apply from 19 June 2026 where required.

United States: checkout is the store purchase flow.

10. Advertising

Duet does not currently show third-party ads. We do not use AdMob. If that changes, we will update these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

11. User conduct

You agree not to: harass or impersonate others; upload content you do not have rights to; install Duet on another person’s device to track them without their agreement; probe or disrupt our systems; or use Duet in embargoed countries or if you are on a U.S. prohibited-parties list.

APPLE-07. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

12. Intellectual property

Duet, its trademarks, and its code are owned by Morrowline Apps (trading as Seyfi Can Zeyrek) or its licensors. You keep rights in content you upload, and you grant us and your partner a license to host and display that content to operate the Service.

APPLE-06. If a third party claims Duet infringes intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are responsible for investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of that claim.

13. Privacy Policy

Our Privacy Policy explains what data we process. If these Terms and the Privacy Policy conflict on data issues, the Privacy Policy controls. If they conflict on service rules, these Terms control.

14. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED AS IS AND AS AVAILABLE. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted service, accurate distance, or any relationship outcome.

APPLE-04. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, if the Licensed Application fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the Licensed Application to you. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation with respect to the Licensed Application, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any warranty are our sole responsibility.

15. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR DUET SUBSCRIPTIONS IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (EXCLUDING AMOUNTS RETAINED BY APPLE OR GOOGLE) OR (B) USD 50 IF YOU NEVER PAID US.

This limit does not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, including death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or gross negligence.

APPLE-05. We, not Apple, are responsible for claims relating to the Licensed Application, including product liability, failure to meet legal requirements, and claims under consumer protection or privacy law (including HealthKit and HomeKit — Duet does not use those frameworks). We do not limit liability beyond what applicable law allows.

Nothing here removes mandatory consumer rights in Türkiye, the EEA, the United Kingdom, or elsewhere.

16. Indemnification

To the extent permitted for consumers under applicable unfair-terms rules, you will indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of Duet, content you upload, or use on another person’s device without permission. Where consumer law makes this unenforceable, it does not apply.

17. Termination

You may stop using Duet and delete your account. We may suspend or terminate access for breach, legal risk, or service shutdown, with notice where reasonable. On exit, on-device data is removed by uninstall; cloud data follows the Privacy Policy (including partner retention).

18. Dispute resolution

Email sczgamesinfo@gmail.com and wait 30 days for an informal resolution before filing a claim.

Governing law: laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence remain in effect.

Courts: non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of İzmir, Türkiye. You may also sue in courts where you live when consumer law gives you that right (including Türkiye consumer courts, EEA/UK courts of your domicile, and small-claims courts). We do not make other courts “invalid.”

These Terms do not require arbitration and do not include a class-action waiver.

19. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms. The new version applies after we post it at https://duet.morrowline.app/en/terms/ and update the date. Material changes will be highlighted in the app when a clickwrap version log ships. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance where the law allows; we will ask for a new I Agree where the law requires it.
